I’ve been rocking the Motorola V3 since the end of August, and despite the clunky OS, tiny (8 meg) memory, and lousy volume, I’ve loved the freedom of having a (cruddy, low res) camera on hand at all times. Check out some of these recent images, from the ‘moblog’.

This tofu teriyaki takeaway from Aya in Clarendon St, is both alliterative and cheap. At €7, it’s around the large McDonald’s meal mark, and just about the nicest takeaway available in the city centre. For another euro, they’ll even do a chicken version for unrepentant carnivores.

Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, an ominous Fog descended across the East coast of Ireland and the West of England, reducing visibility down to about a hundred yards, and grounding holiday flights.

Not so much an interesting picture, as a cautionary tale for anyone considering working or living in Ireland. Extortionate rents have forced many (including yours truly) out of this city, and into a daily commute. Witness the 8.40am crowds in Pearse St station. I’ve been lucky, a couple of students, and even a highly paid migrant worker of my acquaintance, having been living for literally months in hostel dormitories. Housing crisis, what housing crisis?
